Start with a finished page
Choose a card, invitation, poster or colouring-page template by occasion, then set its wording, main animal and look. Blank pages are available too. Every result is made of ordinary editable figures, so parts, colours and positions remain yours to change. Templates include Christmas, Easter, get-well cards and sleepover invitations.
Build a birthday card
Six groups supply the decorations: balloons singly, in threes, as hearts or foil stars; round or two-tier cakes and cupcakes with one to six flickering candles; presents in four shapes with patterned wrapping; bunting with three flag shapes; letter garlands spelling your words; and confetti or streamers. Party hats and the A6 page size round out the card.
Build characters by choosing, not drawing
Owl Designer combines a character builder with a collage editor. An owl is assembled from twelve sets of finished shapes, from its body and eyes to wings, feet and an accessory. Every tile previews the whole character with that choice fitted; ten colour roles, fourteen schemes and fourteen generated patterns add variety without curve editing.
The expanding cast reaches from foxes, cats and garden birds to insects, seals, whales and a penguin. Suns, hearts, plants, speech bubbles, plain text and basic geometric shapes turn the same page into a complete scene, captioned illustration or poster.
Physical sizes and real vectors
The page is measured in millimetres, with presets from A6 to A0 plus square and custom formats. PDF and SVG retain the same curves used on the canvas, so a large poster remains crisp. Transparent PNG, JPEG and the project’s JSON format cover screen use and later editing.
From a part to a finished composition
- Choose a template or blank page, then set the wording and main animal.
- Choose its parts, colour scheme and patterns, or try Surprise me.
- Drag, resize, rotate and reorder the figures.
- Set the page format and background, then export for print or screen.
- Save a project file or share a link that keeps the design in its local URL fragment.
Less bulk in a shared link
A link holds the entire design without an account or upload. It opens as a card to view; only Edit brings it into the editor, and that action can be undone. Opening a link never silently replaces work in progress. Older links still work, while new ones are about a tenth shorter. Avoid shorteners that remove the fragment after #. For links beyond roughly 8000 characters, send the project file instead.
Private and practical on mobile
Drawing, export and session recovery stay in the browser, with no analytics or third-party data transfer. The app interface is available in German and English.
On a narrow screen, tools open below the page so the design remains visible while typing. Below roughly 900 pixels, one of six tool panels opens at a time. Drag figures with a finger, use larger handles and pinch to zoom the page.
Card lettering supports Latin letters, German umlauts, digits and ordinary punctuation. Unsupported accents are removed; other writing systems are unavailable. All exports are still images. Transparency is available in PNG or SVG, not PDF, JPEG or colouring pages.
